Ag in the Classroom Resources

On of the best resources for Ag in the Classroom materials is found on the website: agclassroom.org. It list resources from across the nation, including Colorado. It is the national website for Ag in the Classroom.

Several years ago we compiles a resource directory of materials available. It has not been updated in many years, but many of the Colorado resources are still available. This compilation of resource materials is intended to inform you of booklets, videos, teaching kits, posters, workshops, etcetera that are available. Many of the items are free upon request; some are minimally priced to offset production costs; others are more expensive. Some of the contributing organizations act as lending libraries for the videos—all you need to do is return it when you are finished.

Each entry has the contact listed along with the cost and ordering information. There is also an index at the end of the book that categorizes the materials by subject matter and title. We encourage you to use agriculture as a theme to teach your other academic subjects. If you need our help, please contact us.

At the end of the Resource Directory there are two forms, a Resource Recommendation Form and a Teacher Resource Guide Evaluation Form. Your comments are welcome and appreciated. Please take the time to fill out these forms and offer any suggestions that will help improve on our goal of keeping lines of communication open and easily accessible.

Thank you and enjoy the directory!
